CIA Visited on March 13, 2015
The CIA visit included CTE District Staff and NY Superintendents that were introduced to the academy by the Student
Ambassador along with information about integrated projects that they work on.They were very impressed with the computer programming students and the network students collaborating on a game simulation sled during their visit to the gaming class.

Ms. Dumas is marketing and recruiting at the feeder middle schools. She spoke to the parents at AVID’s Parent Night at Holly Hill School and Campbell Middle School.
VMA Showcase was a way to articulate not only to students but, parents and the community through the market table setup. The students took the lead on marketing to the adults and students that came by the table.

During the VMA Showcase, students were going over and talking to both colleges and businesses about jobs.
Ms. Dumas solicit a company into offering our students an internship.
The company met with several students from ASR and was in the process of setting up interviews.
